Unlimited skiing and
cross-country skiing fun

Skiing & cross-country skiing

The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski area offers 109 km of slopes (145 km for sporty skiing) and 47 lifts – leaving nothing to be desired. The slopes are perfectly groomed and guarantee pure skiing fun – with just one ski pass valid for the entire area. Snow reliability is ensured by the fact that 85% of all slopes are equipped with snow-making facilities.

Markbachjoch / Niederau – Skiing fun for experts and beginners

On the wide ridge near the Kopfrader and Mittermoosjoch lifts you’ll also find easy runs, but the forest trails leading down into the valley – especially the Hochberg run or the Stöck and Sixtwiese ski routes – appeal to experienced skiers.

Schatzberg / Auffach – Relaxed skiing and ski safari to Alpbach

At Schatzberg in Auffach, things are more relaxed. In the open terrain, pleasure skiers and snowboarders in the fun park in particular feel at home. Above the tree line, wide and sunny slopes await, while off-piste you’ll find mogul runs and powder descents.

Oberau – Families and beginners

In the center of Oberau, at the Schießhüttl slope, there is a drag lift that, like the beginner lifts in Niederau, is perfectly suited for newcomers.

Race’n’Boarder Arena

The "Race’n’Boarder Arena" features a racing track with permanent speed measurement. In addition, there is a special carving zone, a giant slalom course, and a slalom lane.

Boredom doesn’t stand a chance. Whether skiing or snowboarding, the varied slopes of the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau offer the right challenge for every skill level.

Off the slopes many more activities await: 40 km of winter hiking trails wind their way through the valley. Cross-country skiers can explore a network of 50 km of trails.
